A summit in NE Dumfries and Galloway, Ewelairs Hill rises to 525m (1722 feet) between Annandale and Eskdale, 1½ miles (2.3 km) south southwest of Loch Fell and 5½ miles (9 km) east southeast of Moffat. Its western slopes are cloaked with plantation forest.
