A rounded summit surrounded by plantation forest in S Dumfries and Galloway, Long Fell rises to 385m (1263 feet) a half-mile (1 im) north northwest of Cuil Hill and 3¾ miles (6 km) west southwest of New Abbey. There is a cairn at its summit.
