Loch Hill

A summit on a ridge which descends from the western shoulder of Hog Fell in Ewesdale, E Dumfries and Galloway, Loch Hill rises to 258m (846 feet) a mile (1.5 km) south southwest of Arkleton and 3¾ miles (6 km) north northeast of Langholm. There is a hill-fort on the summit and the remains of ancient settlements on its western slopes.
