A remote summit in N Dumfries and Galloway, Mid Hill of Glenhead rises to 531m (1742 feet) 1¼ miles (2 km) south of Alhang, on the border with East Ayrshire, and 2¾ miles (4.5 km) east northeast of Cairnsmore of Carsphairn. Plantation forest cloaks its southwestern slopes.
