A partially forested summit on the border between East Ayrshire and Dumfries & Galloway, just south of the boundary with South Lanarkshire, White Hill rises to 480m / 1574 feet, 5 miles (8 km) north of Kirkconnel. There are other summits with the same name nearby, the nearest being 6 miles (10 km) to the east and 7 miles (11 km) to the south southwest.
