Sidhean Mor


(Sìdhean Mòr)

A modest hill in the NW Highlands, Sidhean Mor rises to 161m (528 feet) on the Point of Stoer, 2¼ miles (3.5 km) northwest of Culkein. Its summit is marked by an Ordnance Survey primary triangulation pillar installed 1948-49. Its name is Gaelic, meaning "large mound of the fairies."
