A elongated hill with multiple summits which reach 430m (1410 feet) along a ridge in Highland Perth & Kinross, Ben Salachill is located 1½ miles (2.5 km) south southwest of Little Loch Skiach and 5 miles (8 km) west northwest of Dunkeld. A sections of the Griffin Wind Farm extends over its slopes.
