Torry Bay

A bay on the coast of the Firth of Forth in W Fife. Overlooked by the settlements of Newmills and Torryburn, its mudflats and saltmarshes are important feeding grounds for wintering birds. The western section of the bay is infilled by ash which settled in large lagoons after having been pumped as a slurry from the Longannet Power Station.
