River Shira

The River Shira is formed by the runoff from Lochan Shira, Argyll and Bute. Flowing south and west it passes through Lochan Sron Mor, and then down through Glen Shira. It terminates in Dubh Loch a mile (1.5 km) north northeast of Loch Shira. The short section of river which connects these two water bodies is the Gearr Abhainn.
