A summit with steep southeastern slopes in the W of South Lanarkshire, Broomerside Hill reaches as height of 463m (1519 feet) a quarter-mile (0.5 km) south of Common Hill and 1½ miles (2.5 km) northwest of Glespin. Turbines which form part of the Hagshaw Hill Wind Farm circle the summit.
