Hunt Law

An elongated hill in the SW of South Lanarkshire, Hunt Law rises to 535m (1755 feet) a half-mile (0.8 km) northwest of Leadhills. A secondary summit reaches 523m (1715 feet) a further half-mile to the northwest of the first. The hill is pock-marked with the remains of lead mines; with several productive veins intersecting on its southeastern slopes. The Snar Water has its source to the south.
