Davington Burn A stream in NE Dumfries and Galloway, the Davington Burn is a tributary of the White Esk to the north of Eskdalemuir. It rises on the southeastern slopes of Ettrick Pen and flows southeast for 4 miles (6.5 km) collecting numerous little tributary streams to fall into the White Esk at Davington, a quarter-mile (0.4 km) south of the Eskdalemuir Observatory.
