A summit in the Central Mainland of Shetland, Hill of Sound rises to 238m (780 feet) on the southern shoulder of Weisdale Hill, a mile (1.7 km) north northwest of Kalliness. The A971 road curves around its lower slopes and a pair of communication towers lie below the summit.
