One of a group of four summits running from the centre of the island of Unst to its eastern coast, Muckle Heog rises to 140m (459 feet) between Nikka Vord and Little Heog, 1¼ miles (2 km) northeast of Baltasound. A burial cairn known as Harold's Grave lies on its northern slopes.
