Penkiln Burn

A small river in Dumfries and Galloway, the Penkiln Burn rises as headstreams between Lamachan Hill and Curleywee, 6 miles (10 km) north northeast of Newton Stewart. It flows south and southwest to join the River Cree at Minnigaff, having completed a course of 8½ miles (14 km). Its principal tributaries are the Pulbae Burn and the Loch of the Lowes Strand.
