Loch Fada

A small loch in the E of the island of Islay in Argyll and Bute, Loch Fada is situated a half-mile (1 km) west of Beinn Dubh and 2 miles (3 km) southeast of Ballygrant. It extends to 5.3 ha (13.2 acres), is trimmed by a strip of woodland running along its southern shore and is drained by a stream flowing west into Loch Bharradail. The loch supports a recreational fishery.
