Loch nam Ban

A small reservoir on the east coast of the island of Islay (Argyll and Bute), Loch nam Ban is located a half-mile (0.8 km) south of Ardnahoe Loch. It extends to 7.5 ha (18.6 acres) and is retained by a dam to the southeast. The loch drains through a stream which falls into the Sound of Islay at Caol Ila.
