River Carnaig


(Abhainn an t-Sratha Charnaig)

A small river of E Sutherland, the River Carnaig (Gael: Abhainn an t-Sratha Charnaig) rises in Loch Buidhe, 5½ miles (9 km) north of Spinningdale, and flows east through Srath Carnaig to fall into the River Fleet a mile (1.8 km) northwest of Loch Fleet. It is 6 miles (10 km) in length.
