A lochan in SE Islay (Argyll and Bute), Loch Tallant lies to the southwest of Tallant and 3¼ miles (5.5 km) northeast of Ardbeg. It extends to only 2 ha (5 acres), but supports a recreational fishery. There is another Loch Tallant 8 miles (13 km) to the west northwest.
