A little reservoir in the east of the island of Luing (Argyll and Bute), Lochan Iliter (or Illiter) is located a mile (1.5 km) north of Toberonochy and 2 miles (3 km) south southeast of Cullipool. It was originally used to supply water to drive a corn mill to the west at Achafolla, but is now retained by a concrete dam and operated by Scottish Water for the supply of drinking-water.
