Loch Airigh Dhaibhaidh

A small and shallow lochan on the plain that lies behind Laggan Bay in the centre of the island of Islay in the Inner Hebrides, Loch Dubh lies next to the A846 road, 2½ miles (4 km) north northwest of Islay Airport and a similar distance south of Bowmore. It covers an area of only 0.9 ha (2.2 acres) and is surrounded by peat cuttings.
