Loch an Dhubhaich

A tiny lochan in the NE of Islay in the Inner Hebrides, Lochan an Dubhaich is surrounded by plantation forest, 1½ miles (2.5 km) west southwest of Bunnahabhainn. It extends to only 1.3 ha (3.2 acres) and contains a sizeable island which almost splits the loch in two lengthwise. The lochan casts off a stream to the south which is a tributary of the Allt Loch nan Eun.
