Loch an Raoin

A group of small lochans within a larger wetland on the course of Allt na Coite in the centre of the island of Islay (Argyll and Bute), Loch an Raoin is situated between Foreland House and Lyrabus. The size of these lochans is seasonal, but they represent a popular roost for wintering Greenland white-fronted geese.
