Loch an t-Sailein


(Loch an t-Sàilein)

A small sea loch on the SE coast of Islay in Argyle and Bute, Loch an t-Sailein us formed behind Eilean Imersay and Aird Imersay, to the east of Ardbeg. Its entrance is open to prevailing winds, although is to some extent protected by the island of Texa and numerous rocks and rocky islets.
