A small river of S Central Islay, in the Inner Hebrides, the Torra River forms at the junction of the Allt Gleann Creag a' Chait and the Uisge Gleann a' Chromain, a half-mile (1 km) north of Maol Airigh o Dhuin. It flows west for 2 miles (3 km), then north for a further half-mile (0.8 km), passing Torra, before turning west once again and becoming the Duich River as it passes under the B8016 road, having completed a course of 2½ miles (4.1 km).
