A tiny lochan on the edge of the Penninghame Forest in NW Dumfries and Galloway, Loch Quie extends to only 0.6 ha (1.6 acres) and is situated a mile (1.7 km) north northeast of Glassoch Fell and 1¼ miles (2 km) east of Glenruther Lodge.
