River Tromie

A river of the Badenoch district of Highland Council Area, the River Tromie rises from Loch an t-Seilich and flows for 10 miles (16 km) in a northerly direction, through Glen Tromie and merges with the River Spey in the Insh Marches, 1¼ miles (2 km) east of Kingussie. Its middle reaches are wooded, and then the river passes through a picturesque little gorge, with waterfalls, which is crossed by the Tromie Bridge, a quarter-mile (0.4 km) west of Drumguish.
