Round Loch of Glenhead

The larger of a pair of small lochs in N Central Dumfries and Galloway, the Round Loch of Glenhead lies to the south of the Rig of the Jarkness, at the head of Glen Trool. Extending to 13.3 ha (32.8 acres), it drains to the southwest into the Round Loch Burn, which is a tributary of the Glenhead Burn.
