A river rising in Stratherrick to the east of Loch Ness (Highland), the River Foyers flows 9 miles (14 km) northeast to enter Loch Ness near Foyers, 10 miles (16 km) northeast of Fort Augustus. The Falls of Foyers comprise two waterfalls of 27m (90 feet) and 9m (30 feet).
