Dunwan Burn

A stream of East Renfrewshire, the Dunwan Burn rises as headstreams on the northwestern slopes of Loch Hill and flows north for a half-mile (1 km) to enter the Dunwan Dam. It then continues out of the dam for another 2 miles (3 km) towards Over Enoch, where it becomes the Enoch Burn and continues on to form the Polnoon Water which then falls into the White Cart Water. A short distance after leaving Dunwan Dam the Rivoch Cut diverts water from the stream towards Eaglesham, where it once powered mills.
