A river which forms at the confluence of the Burn of Corries and Stripe of Loan in the uplands of Moray, the Leanoch Burn flows 4 miles (6.5 km) northwards through Glen Latterach to join the River Lossie to the north of Leanoch. On its way, it passes through Glenlatterach Reservoir and forms a waterfall at the Ess of Glenlatterach. It was once known as the Angry Burn.
