Iorsa Water The Iorsa Water is the most significant river on the island of Arran, North Ayrshire, rising on the western slopes of Caisteal Abhail. Flowing south, it passes through the valley of Glen Iorsa and Loch Iorsa before heading west towards Dougarie. It empties into the Kilbrannan Sound at the northern end of Machrie Bay.
