Monks Burn

A tributary of the River North Esk in Midlothian, Monks Burn rises between Cap Law and Green Law in the Pentland Hills and flows south to the settlement of Nine Mile Burn, where it crosses the A702 Trunk Road, before turning south once again and falling into the North Esk after completing a course of 2½ miles (4 km).
