Dean Burn

A stream that forms on the western slopes of Hawthornside Hill in the Scottish Borders, the Dean Burn flows north, passing beneath the A6088 road and continuing north to Denholm, where it falls into the River Teviot. It is 5⅔ miles (9.1 km) in length, with the last 2 miles (3 km) passing through the wooded little Denholm Dean.
