A stream which rises on the southeastern slopes of the Hill of Tagdale on the east coast of the Shetland Mainland, the North Burn of Gremista flows east alongside the A970 road to fall into the Bight of Gremista opposite Lerwick Marina, having completed a course of 1¼ miles (1.9 km).
