A pair of lochans lying next to a junction in the A970 road in Northmavine (Shetland Mainland), the Sandy Lochs are located 2 miles (3 km) east southeast of Urafirth. The lochs are drained by the Burn of the Sandy Lochs which flows west into Hamar Voe.
