Kirkcudbright Bay

An inlet of the Solway Firth on the coast of Dumfries and Galloway, Kirkcudbright Bay extends 6 miles (10 km) southwards from Kirkcudbright and the mouth of the River Dee. Little Ross island lies at its mouth and at its head are extensive tidal sands.
