A sea loch on the coast of Wester Ross in Highland Council Area, Loch Carron extends northeastwards from the south end of the Inner Sound on the north side of the Kyle of Lochalsh. A ferry once crossed the narrows between Stromemore and Stromeferry. Plockton lies at its mouth.
