Loch Inver

An important sealoch of the NW Highlands, Loch Inver opens into The Minch to the north of Enard Bay. It is 2¼ miles (3.5 km) in length with the fishing village of Lochinver lies at its head, where both the River Inver and Culag River drain into the loch. The other settlements around its shores are Baddidarroch, Badnaban and Strathan. Soyea Island lies across its mouth.
