Sand Wick

A small inlet on the west coast of the island of South Ronaldsay in Orkney, Sand Wick opens onto the southern approach to Scapa Flow between The Nev and South Slett. The settlement of Sandwick lies to the east, while there archaeological remains in the form of a chambered cairn on its northern shore and a broch, known as Weems Castle, to the south.
