An inlet of the northern coast of the Shetland Mainland, Orka Voe is located to the south of the entrance to Sullom Voe, at southern end of Yell Sound, 6 miles (10 km) northeast of Brae. More than half of the voe was infilled to allow the construction of Sullom Voe Oil Terminal, leaving The Houb as an isolated freshwater loch.
