The Houb

A peculiar little body of water between Swinster Voe and Dales Voe off the northeast coast of the Shetland Mainland, The Houb is constrained between South Ayre, the tombolo that connects Fora Ness to the shore, and North Ayre, which allows just a narrow opening to Swinster Voe.
