A significant inlet at the neck of the Walls Peninsula in the West Mainland of Shetland, Aith Voe extends north from the settlement of Aith to open into Swarbacks Minn around the island of Papa Little. It extends to 2½ miles (4 km) in length and reaches a half-mile (1 km) in width.
