Birnam Hill

A craggy wooded hill in central Perth and Kinross, Birnam Hill rises steeply to the west of the River Tay, a mile (2 km) to the south of Dunkeld. By a low level walk around the village of Birnam there is an immense oak tree said to be the remains of Shakespeare's celebrated Birnam Wood.
