Relugas House

A former seat of the Comyn family, what little remains of Relugas House is situated on the Logie Estate in Moray near the junction of the River Findhorn and River Divie. It was described by Elizabeth Grant of Rothiemurchus as "about the prettiest place ever lived in" and by marriage became the home of Sir Thomas Dick Lauder (1784 - 1848), the author of 'The Moray Floods', 'Highland Legends' and other books. Close by is Randolph's Leap and two markers on the banks of the River Findhorn indicating the flood level reached during the Muckle Spate of 1829.
