Beinn Bhreac

A hill in S Central Islay, Beinn Bhreac comprises a number of summits, the highest of which rises to 329m (1079 feet) a mile (1.5 km) west southwest of Beinn Uraraidh. Loch Beinn Uraraidh lies immediately to the east. Its name means "speckled hill" and there are several other similarly-named hills nearby; 3½ miles (5.5 km) to the south, 5½ miles (9 km) to the north northeast and 11 miles (18 km) to the north northwest.
