Hallyburton House

An Elizabethan-style mansionhouse in Strathmore, E Perth and Kinross, Hallyburton House is situated 3 miles (5 km) southeast of Coupar Angus near the village of Kettins. Built in the 1680s to replace the old castle of Pitcur, it was remodelled in the 18th and 19th centuries. A dining room wing designed by Robert Lorimer was added in 1903. It lies in extensive parkland, surrounded by the 2024 ha (5000 acre) Hallyburton Estate.
