White Caterthun

Described as one of the finest Prehistoric ruins in Britain, the White Caterthun is an Iron-Age hill-fort located on a hill to the northeast of Menmuir, at the mouth of Glen Lethnot, 5 miles (8 km) northwest of Brechin. It comprises a complex of defences representing several phases of development. A half-mile (1 km) to the northeast is the Brown Caterthun.
