South Ness

A headland between Brei Wick and Bressay Sound on the east coast of the Shetland Mainland, South Ness is occupied by the southeastern section of the town of Lerwick, including Anderson High School, Lerwick Cemetery and a golf course. South Ness comes to a point at The Knap and Horse of the Knab. North Ness is situated a mile (1.5 km) to the north northwest.
