A rocky summit marked by cairns in NW Dumfries and Galloway, Craigmoddie Fell rises to 248m (813 feet) 2½ miles (4 km) west of Polbae. Located on its northeastern slopes is Linn's Grave, the last resting place of Covenanter Alexander Linn (d.1685).
